• Account data — retained while your account is active and for 30 days after deletion
• Recording files — automatically deleted after 28 days
• Activity logs — retained for 90 days
• Payment records — retained for 7 years as required by HMRC
• Login attempt logs — retained for 30 days

We take the security of your data seriously. We use:

• HTTPS encryption for all data transmission
• Encrypted passwords (bcrypt hashing — we never store passwords in plain text)
• Firewall protection on our servers
• Rate limiting to protect against brute force attacks
• API key authentication between system components
